An Innovative Service

SouthernRock Geophysics S.A. is dedicated to providing geophysical services for the mineral exploration sector with further expertise in ground water, geothermal and other monitoring programs. The company formerly operated in the region as Zonge Ingenieria y Geofisica (Chile) S.A., with the new identity prompted by its independence from Zonge International (USA) several years ago. Today SouthernRock Geophysics boasts over 20 years of experience in the Andean region with a field base in Antofagasta, a technical office in Santiago and a sister company Ridgeback Geofisica Argentina S.A. based in Mendoza, all of which form a resource network that delivers innovative earth imaging solutions to a broad base of local and multinational clients.

SouthernRocks association with the Chilean company Advanced Geophysical Technologies S.A. (AGT) has provided over 6 years of seamless development of the gDAS24 24-bit distributed array system and our long term commitment to AGT provides SouthernRock with exclusive and dedicated availability of the most competitive deep IP and MT imaging solutions to the current resource exploration market .

Other services include conventional IP / Resistivity (surface arrays, tomography and down-hole logging), Transient Electromagnetics, Controlled Source Audio Magneto Tellurics, Downhole 3-component TEM, Gravity, Ground Magnetics and others.

SouthernRock retains a number of consulting contracts with junior companies or other clients who do not maintain in-house geophysical expertise. These services may include quality control for contracted or in-house  data acquisition, review of historic data or survey planning.

Health, Safety and the Environment

Principal objectives focus on the prevention of professional disease and accidents, protecting the health and well-being of our employees through the continual improvement of procedures and processes within our business while adhering to local and international legislation and best-practice. As part of our commitment to industry wide safety standards and best practise, SouthernRock Geophysics became an active member of the Ground Geophysical Survey Safety Association, shortly atfter it's formation in 2011.

Management

Our team enjoys a mostly flat organizational structure which has promoted business fluidity, communication and growth.

SouthernRock's field office is home to our Operations, Human Resources and Health & Safety management staff in Antofagasta where they are able to provide the field operations with the necessary guidance and support for the seamless administration of several simultaneous field crews.

The Santiago location acts as a centralized technical and general management office from where most of the field survey supervision, data processing, reporting and other consulting is done.
